We turned 5 years old

In April 2025, Pete's Gardening Services proudly celebrated its 5th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in our journey, and what an incredible five years it has been. What initially began as the smallest seed of an idea has now blossomed into a thriving city-wide operation, reaching far beyond our original aspirations. Over the years, we have undertaken a variety of gardening projects that range from large-scale clearances to transformative planting jobs, each contributing to the benefit of our community and the outdoor spaces they use. Today I have taken a moment to reflect on the past five years. I consider the many milestones that our business has achieved. Among these accomplishments is the important step of registering for VAT, which has allowed us to operate on a larger scale and serve our clients with increased professionalism and efficiency. Additionally, the purchase of a brand new company van marked a significant investment in our operational capabilities, enabling us to transport our team and equipment to various job sites across the city with ease and reliability. Equally important to our growth has been the development of a skilled and committed team. Each member has played a vital role in our success, bringing their unique talents and dedication to the table. Without their hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence, the company simply would not be where it is today. That includes people who have worked for PGS in the past. Each and every contribution is recognised and appreciated as part of the comapanies journey. Together, we have cultivated a culture of teamwork and shared vision that drives us forward. As I look ahead to the next five years, I am filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation. I am currently in the process of making plans to expand the company even further, exploring new avenues for growth and innovation. There are numerous exciting projects and initiatives in the pipeline set to launch in Spring 2026, each aimed at enhancing our service offerings and reaching even more customers who could benefit from our expertise. However, before diving into future endeavors, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of our customers. To those who have trusted us to tend to their outdoor spaces, we are immensely thankful. Whether you are a one-time customer seeking assistance for a specific project or one of our valued regular clients who has relied on our services over the years, your support has been instrumental in helping us reach this first mini milestone of five years. Reaching this point has required a tremendous amount of groundwork—pun intended! Countless early mornings have been spent preparing the work van, ensuring that we are ready to tackle the day ahead. Late nights have been dedicated to sending invoices, responding to inquiries, and meticulously planning our next steps. Each moment of effort has contributed to the foundation of our success, and I look forward to building upon this strong base as we embark on the next chapter of our journey.
